Official Public Defender at the National Public Defender’s Office, Argentina

Lawyer with an Honor Diploma from the Faculty of Law (UBA); Master of Laws (Harvard Law School) and PhD in History (University of San Andrés). Lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires and at the Torcuato Di Tella University. Co-founder of Red-Alas (Latin American Network of Legal Scholars). Former coordinator and current member of the research team Feminist Criminal Doctrine (UBA).

Author of several articles published in books and specialized journals on law and history. With her book Malas madres. Aborto e infanticidio en perspectiva histórica, she contributed to various research studies on the relationship between motherhood and criminal justice in Latin America.

She is an Official Public Defender at the National Public Defender’s Office, where she directs the Public Defense School.
