Mattei-Gentili, Piero

Researcher specialising in Legal Philosophy, Constitutional Law and Evidential Legal Reasoning. PhD in Law from the University of Girona, Spain, lawyer and Master's degree in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has taught Legal Logic, Philosophy of Law and Ethics at the Faculty of Law of the UNAM, Legal Epistemology in the Postgraduate Programme in Law at the UNAM, as well as Theory of Law II and Evidential Reasoning at the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico.

Author of the book La normatividad de la costumbre. Un estudio de teoría analítica sobre la costumbre como fuente del derecho (Marcial Pons, in press). He has also published in prestigious international journals such as Doxa, Cuestiones Constitucionales, Phenomenology and Mind, Problema. Anuario de Filosofía y Teoría del Derecho, Noesis, Eunomía, among others.
