Epistemologist. Her interests include, amongst other things, the nature and normativity of evidence and inquiry, and how these interact with a cluster of issues in ethics, law, and feminist philosophy. For example the problem of legal statistical evidence, as well as issues related to the metaphysics and epistemology of sexual consent.
Recently, she has been awarded a 6 year FCT-fellowship for her project "Demanding Evidence: epistemic and legal problems", which explores the legal and epistemic limits of our interrogative practices.
