Member of the Research Center on International Markets and Investment Law (CREDIMI), his work crosses several disciplines: data protection law, white-collar crime, European criminal law, and banking law.

He prepared his Ph.D. thesis between the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg, and Paris Nanterre University, France. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security, and Law, in Germany.

He is a member of the Association internationale de droit économique and a legal analyst for EU Law Live. He is also a member of the criminal law section of the Société de législation comparée.
