Fully qualified lawyer from the Portuguese and Brazilian Bars, independent arbitrator and legal expert. She has been involved in more than 100 arbitrations to date. She is particularly noted for her involvement in commercial, banking, and financial arbitrations, as well as in public law/administrative law cases, where she frequently serves as presiding arbitrator in high-stakes cases with significant economic impact. Recently, for instance, she has acted in cases for the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC/São Paulo), the Market Arbitration Chamber (CAM/São Paulo), and the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC), where she also serves as Vice President.

She is the author of more than 210 publications and has participated in more than 330 international and national conferences.
