Lawyer and academic at the Department of Public Law of the University of Chile, specialising in administrative and environmental issues. She holds a master's degree in Law from the same university and a master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (United Kingdom).
She is currently studying a DPhil at Oxford University, where she is researching evidentiary issues and standards of proof in environmental administrative authorisations and their judicial review by the Environment Courts. Her research has also addressed issues of good administration, good governance, environmental justice and the so-called ‘sacrifice zones’.
