PhD in Law from the University of Bologna (Italy). Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) from 1977 to 1988. From 1988 until his retirement in 2021, professor at the University of Murcia (Spain). Currently emeritus professor at the University of Murcia.

 Member of the Royal Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence of the Region of Murcia.
