Previously, she has been a postdoctoral researcher at University of Oxford (UK) and Early Career Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. She has carried out research stays and academic exchanges at various universities such as the University of Strasbourg (France), the University of Heidelberg (Germany), and the Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany).

Founding member and member of the board of the Chilean Network of Comparative Law. Her main areas of research are related to a comparative view of the functions of civil liability, compensation of moral injuries, taxonomy and nomenclature of the categories of compensable damages, privacy protection, and bodily harm, among other private law topics.
