Assistant Professor of Criminal procedure at the University of Trento (Italy), where he teaches criminal evidence law and comparative criminal procedure. He holds a PhD in criminal procedure and evidence law from the Catholic University of The Sacred Heart (Milano, Italy) and later worked at the University of Milano - Bicocca (Italy) as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2023 he obtained the National Scientific Habilitation (ASN) as Associate Professor of criminal procedure.
His main research interests are: European and comparative criminal procedure, judicial epistemology and the law of evidence, artificial intelligence in criminal proceedings.
