He is the author of the following books: Derecho procesal penal alemán y peruano (co-authored with Klaus Volk and Kai Ambos); La prueba prohibida y nulidad de actuados en el proceso penal; La culpabilidad y otros temas de Derecho Penal Mínimo, as well as various articles on criminal law and criminal procedure law. 

Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Lima, Peru. Former advisor to the Alta Dirección of the Ministry of Justice, the Ombudsman's Office and the Supreme Court of Peru.
