PhD in Procedure law cum laude from University of Barcelona. Professor of Procedure law and Evidence law at Pompeu Fabra University (Spain). Professor of Comparative evidence law at Stanford Law School (California), and of the course La prueba en el derecho comparado at the International Center for Legal Studies in Lima (Peru).

Speaker at the Barcelona Bar Association and at Rovira i Virgili University (Spain). Author of various doctrinal articles and legal monographs, including La aportación procesal de correspondencia entre letrados, El secreto profesional del abogado en el proceso civil, and La nueva configuración del secreto profesional del abogado, that were awarded the Degà Roda i Ventura Memorial Prize by the Barcelona Bar Association in 2007, 2014 and 2022, and the article entitled La influencia americana en la admisión y valoración de la prueba científica en el Anteproyecto de Ley de Enjuiciamiento Criminal, winner of the ‘Treballs de Recerca’ prize awarded by the Associació Catalana de Perits Judicials i Forenses in 2022.
