Professor Hunter's research centres on criminal trials. She examines the law and practices relating to all criminal trial participants, with a particular interest in juries and judges. Her books and articles span the law of evidence and procedure and human rights principles, and with all these topics she engages the disciplines of history, sociology and psychology.
