Member of the drafting committee of the preliminary draft reform of the Criminal Procedure Act of 2020 and coordinator of the working group on the reform of Criminal procedure set up in 2021 by the Centre for Legal Studies and Specialised Training of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Member of the working group of the Centre for Legal Studies of the Spanish Ministry of Justice on the preliminary draft of the Criminal Procedure Law.

He is one of the three Spanish representatives in the International Penal and Penitentiary Foundation (IPPF), since September 2014. He is also a lecturer on the master's Degree in Criminal Sciences at the University of Barcelona and has been a lecturer in numerous training activities for the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary, the Centre for Legal Studies and Specialised Training of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Institute for Public Security of Catalonia - Police School (ISPC).
