Law degree from Autonomous University of  Querétaro (Mexico). Master's degree in Constitutional procedure law from the Centro de Estudios de Actualización en Derecho (Mexico). Master's degree in Legal argumentation from University of Alicante (Spain) and master's degree in Evidential legal reasoning from the universities of Girona (Spain) and Genoa (Italy).

She was Secretary of Study and Account of the Regional Chambers Specialized and Monterrey of the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (Mexico). She has taught at her alma mater, the Autonomous University of Querétaro.

She is the coordinator of Manual del Procedimiento Especial Sancionador: Guía teórica y práctica (Triant lo Blanch, Mexico), among other publications.
