Lawyer, philosopher and master's degree in Philosophy (Legal epistemology). 

He was an academic researcher at the Faculty of Jurisprudence of University of Rosario (Colombia) and a FAPA scholarship holder at University of Los Andes (Colombia).

He has served as municipal criminal judge with functions of knowledge, as judge (e) of the Circuit in execution of sentences and security measures and as municipal criminal judge (e) with functions of guarantee management. Former director of the Instituto de Casación y Ciencias Jurídicas (PROVELI) and former legal advisor to various public and private entities.
