Professor of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at University del Rosario, Colombia, and director of the oral litigation programmes at the same university. He has been a visiting professor at University of Girona (Spain), the Externado University of Colombia, the Benemérita Universidad de Oaxaca (Mexico) and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Ecuador (PUCE), among others. He holds an LL.M., cum laude, in Oral Litigation from the California Western School of Law and master's degree in Evidential Legal Reasoning from University of Girona (UdG), from which he graduated with honours.
He is the author of Manual de Contrainterrogatorio, paso a paso para un contra ideal (2022), the best-selling book of the years 2022 and 2023 by Tirant lo Blanch publisher (Colombia) throughout Latin America. His works also include Aproximación al contrainterrogatorio: formulación de preguntas y control del testigo hostil (2021) and La preparación del testimonio: un falso mantra, cargado de riesgos epistémicos, published in Quaestio facti (2023).
His academic work has sought to generate an approach to criminal litigation techniques that, with a practical focus, incorporates the contributions and central concepts of evidential reasoning and the psychology of testimony.
