Graduate in Law from the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). He holds a PhD in Law and Social Sciences from the same university, and a PhD in Philosophy of Law from University of Genoa (Italy). He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Legal Culture at University of Girona and lecturer in Legal Argumentation on the double degree in Law and Criminology at the Faculty of Law at University of Girona.

He also co-directs the journal Quaestio Facti. International Journal on Evidential Legal Reasoning, and has published several books and numerous articles on philosophy of law and evidential legal reasoning. His books include Los confines pragmáticos del razonamiento probatorio (Zela, Lima, 2020), Modos de describir el derecho. Normas jurídicas, proposiciones normativas y enunciados deónticos (Marcial Pons, Barcelona-Madrid-Buenos Aires-São Paulo, 2019), Problemas probatorios perennes (Fontamara, Mexico, 2018) and La decisión de encarcelar preventivamente y otros peligros procesales (Ad-Hoc, Buenos Aires, 2017).
