PhD in Law from the Externado University of Colombia, with the doctoral thesis cum laude, La prueba de oficio (2008), supervised by Professor Michele Taruffo. Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Law from the University of Buenos Aires - UBA (currently).

Her areas of expertise include the theory of evidence, principles of procedure, orality and procedure, ex officio evidence, general theory of procedure, general and special civil procedure, constitutional procedural law and procedural guarantees, among others.

Member of the Instituto Iberoamericano de Derecho Procesal. Member of the Red sobre Reglas de Brasilia of University of Cadiz, Spain.
