Professor of Procedural Law, PhD in Law from the University of Alicante. Her doctoral thesis on the presumption of innocence was awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize and was published in 2005 under the title Prueba y presunción de inocencia.
Her main area of research is the law of evidence (both civil and criminal). She has carried out research stays in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Chile and has participated in numerous research projects, also as principal investigator.
She has been director of the Master's Degree in Law at the University of Alicante and of the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica de Alicante.
