Full professor of Psychology at Sapienza University of Rome and Emeritus Professor of Neuroscience/Psychology at University of Hull, United Kingdom. She also teaches at the Scuola Superiore della Magistratura in Italy and the Escuela de Verano del Poder Judicial in Spain.

She is the author of more than 250 publications in international and national journals and two volumes on the psychology of testimony, which have also been translated into Spanish. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Associazione Italiana Studiosi della Prova (AISP).
