Former full professor of Civil Procedure at the University of Florence (1998-2022). Enrico Redenti Prize for Civil Procedure (2022). Member of the Presidium of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL). Founding member of the European Law Institute (ELI). Member of ELI Executive Committee (2013-2017).
Publications: five books and more 200 papers in Italian, English and German.
