She is the author of Fairness in International Criminal Trials (Oxford University Press, 2016) and Proving International Crimes (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2023). She was, from 2018-2021, Principal Investigator on OSR4Rights, a multi-disciplinary project that examined how open-source research has transformed the landscape of human rights fact-finding, funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Research Council. She is currently Principal Investigator on the TRUE project, a £1.2 million project funded by UK Research and Innovation (originally selected for funding by the European Research Council), which examines the impact of the rise of deepfakes on trust in user-generated evidence of human rights violations.
